Directed by Michael Laughlin

Strange Invaders is an American science fiction film, produced as a tribute to the alien invasion films of the 1950s, and featured the Lakeshore Grounds briefly.

The Lakeshore Grounds make a cameo appearance in Strange Invaders in a handful of scenes. About an hour in, the drive alongside the Gatehouse building and Humber College's G Building  stand in as the Asylum visited by the main characters.  Less recognisable are the scenes of the inner courtyard (image below) of the cottage buildings which would later undergo renovations in the 1990s and 2000s.
